Security & Encryption Standards
Enterprise Automotive Commerce Architecture • Built on Cloudflare Edge
1. Handshake Escrow Architecture
To eliminate counterfeit parts and non-delivery fraud in informal African auto markets, Parts4Drive employs a Handshake Escrow Mechanism. When an order is placed, buyer funds are held in secure escrow. Funds are only released to the merchant once the buyer or receiving mechanic inspects the component at the depot or confirms fitment via VIN matching.
2. Cryptographic Payment Verification
All payment events processed through our gateway integrations (Flutterwave, Paystack, Mobile Money) are cryptographically validated using HMAC SHA-256 signature verification. Replay attacks and duplicate capture attempts are blocked at the edge.
3. Network & Perimeter Defense
Parts4Drive traffic routes through Cloudflare's global Anycast network featuring automated DDoS mitigation, WAF (Web Application Firewall) rate-limiting, and Bot Fight Mode to protect merchant catalogs against unauthorized scraping.
4. Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure
If you identify a potential security vulnerability, please report it immediately to our Security Operations Center at security@parts4drive.com.
